a knitter’s curse
why is it that when you’re knitting in public, people always feel the need to comment? if you’re writing in a notebook in public, nobody asks you what you’re writing about, or how you started writing. whenever i’ve been listening to my ipod, nobody asks me what i’m listening to - or worse, tells me that the only person they know who listens to an ipod is their grandmother.
i knit. sometimes in public. often with others who are also knitting. is it really that big of a deal?

i suppose it’s just because it doesn’t happen very often. i’m glad people still knit, it’s a wonderful hobby to have.
